A record of your meals.
In your own words.

Meali is made by Kovacs Software Solutions for people who want food logging to take a little less effort.

Start with what you ate

A meal can begin as a sentence, a photo, or a short voice note. Meali keeps that personal record and turns it into an editable estimate of calories, protein, carbs, and fat.

The aim is to make everyday logging manageable, including meals you eat on repeat and days when a brief note is all you want to write. Goals, weight tracking, and Apple Health are optional parts of the experience.

Useful estimates, with room for correction

AI nutrition estimates can be wrong. We label them as estimates and let you change foods, quantities, and nutrition rather than treating the first result as final. The app is for general wellness, not medical advice.

Your words and selected photos are personal. They are processed to provide the app’s features, and our privacy policy explains where information goes and what stays on your iPhone. We do not sell your information or show ads.

Practical guides from the maker

Our food journaling guides explain everyday note-taking and the app’s own workflows. They include fictional meal examples labeled as examples, not prescribed menus or nutrition advice.

We describe features implemented in Food Journal, explain limitations, and link to outside sources where they help clarify a topic. Each guide shows its update date. If you spot an error or a step that no longer matches the app, let us know so we can correct it.
